Its obvious to point out that a specific relaunch of a cure for acne problem hinders the appreciation of the importance of the initial elements.
Nodular acne, is also known as nodulocystic acne and some people also call it Cystic Acne. One name or the other the bottom line is that it is one of the advanced stages of acne vulgaris. One of the probems with this type of acne is that it can get painful, it lasts for a very long time and if it is not treated properly it can leave scars you really don’t want to have.
The Formation of Nodular Acne
The nodular acne starts with simple acne. It sounds obvious but t is true… The sebaceous glands produce a sort of oil called sebum. That’s not ba. The problem is when the production is in great quantities, more than the ones the body can handle. This makes the pores to get blocked since the cells of the skin are not adecuately shed. The bacteria resulting grows in the skin which lead to the formation of acne. If you are lucky enough to be taking acne treatment vitamins at this point, you might be able to stop them and will have no acne side effects. On the other hand, if you are not in treatment (which is most peoples case) the acne will start gorwing and will eventually crack the walls of hair folicles. This will cause the bacteria to get inside the dermis.
If this crack happens in a deep part inside the skin, the affected oil (sebum) will contamine the other follicles that are near and this will create more nodules. Basically, his is the way the nodular acne is formed.
The Causes of Nodular Acne
Remember I said I would reveal the shocking truth about Nodular acne? Well this is it in the form of two questions.
Did most of your ancestors (your parents or grandparents) suffer from acne?
Do you have stressfull situations quite often?
If your answer to these two questions is “yes”, most likely you will also have Nodular Acne. Sorry about that … but the facts are the facts.
All though having it in the genes and reacting to stress situations are not specific to nodular acne, they usually contribute to the initial development of acne, which later results in nodules if it gets worse.
The Treatment of Nodular Acne
Having nodular acne is a complex and serious matter. Nodular acne should be treated under the direct supervision of a qualified doctor. My advice is to be patient since it might take a lot longer than usual to treat nodules, so don’t be dissapointed if you don’t see results immediately. On the other hand, eventhough medicine works fine in many cases, don’t be surprised if you need to help the drugs with other treatments.
Doctors say taht the most common remedy for moderate nodular acne is benzoyl peroxide. When it comes to more severe cases, the MDs recommend Isotretinoin. Nevertheless, please be adviced that these have to be prescribed and may have collateral effects. For example, it should not be taken when in pregnancy and it should also be avoided if you get depressed quickly. Other doctors also use intralesional corticosteroid therapy. This therapy is used to inject the drug directly into each cyst or nodule to eliminate it.
During the past few years some new revolutionary treatments without drugs have been used with great results. They are called the holistic treatments. They are much safer and less expensive than the one including drugs. I personally recommend Acne No More by Mike Walden.
Anyway, no matter what treatment you choose, make sure you consult an experienced doctor before starting. All though they are effective in most cases, they also have some side effects that can make things worse for you in the long term.
Don't thank me; just the actual structure of your acne problem requires precision and determination of a whole series of ideological criteria articulated in a common front regenerative action.
